My passion is to share with others the hope and strong comfort I have experienced by meditating on the Word of God. All the cards and prints feature a prominent use of Scripture because I have seen how God blesses His Word.
The Word is also prominent in my work because we’re not a card company, we’re a campus ministry! The mission of the CCO is to is “transform college students to transform the world.” This is the organization that ministered to me when I was a student at Carnegie Mellon University in the late 1970s. The CCO has touched thousands of students with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. I joined staff as the CCO’s graphic designer upon graduation and I’ve been here in various capacities ever since.
I’ve been designing the cards since my first year on staff, when I was looking for a Christmas card to send on behalf of the CCO and couldn’t find one with a strong enough message. Since then, I have been creating cards for the organization and for our staff people to send to their supporters. People began to ask if they could purchase the cards they received from us to send their friends and families, and that’s how the cards ministry developed. All of the cards are designed by me and printed locally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All of the proceeds from the card and print purchases go to benefit the ministry of the CCO.
My primary responsibilities are in marketing and communications for the CCO, and I work on cards when I can fit them into my schedule. For more about me and my work, please sign up to receive my newsletter.
